Mirror Finish Stainless Steel Sheet
Product Overview
Our mirror finish stainless steel sheets are processed through multi-stage mechanical grinding and precision abrasive buffing to achieve high-clarity, distortion-free reflective surfaces. Available in standard ASTM A480 No. 8 and commercial 8K grades, these sheets combine the inherent corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel with architectural-grade surface aesthetics.
Sourced from primary mill-edge coils (TISCO, POSCO, ZPSS), each sheet undergoes tension leveling prior to surface finishing to eliminate oil canning and ensure dimensional flatness across subsequent laser-cutting, bending, and fabrication processes.
Key Features
Specular Reflectance
Delivers high optical clarity with minimal haze and uniform, unidirectional polishing lines.
Surface Integrity
Inspected free from pitting, roller marks, oxidation spots, and micro-scratches under 500-lux inspection lighting.
Fabrication Compatibility
Retains structural formability during brake pressing and CNC punching when protected with laser-safe films.
Corrosion Resistance
Preserves baseline chromium-nickel passivation layers of the base alloy, suitable for indoor and controlled exterior environments.

Available Grades and Material Options
All sheets are supplied with traceable EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates verifying chemical composition and mechanical performance:
Grade 304 / 304L (UNS S30400 / S30403)
The standard austenitic grade for interior architectural cladding, elevators, and general commercial fabrication. Provides reliable formability and atmospheric corrosion resistance.
Grade 316 / 316L (UNS S31600 / UNS S31603)
Alloyed with 2-3 percent Molybdenum (Mo) for enhanced resistance to pitting in coastal architecture, marine environments, and pharmaceutical cleanrooms.
Grade 430 (UNS S43000)
A cost-effective ferritic option suited for decorative applications with minimal environmental exposure.

Applications
Architectural & Interior Design
Elevator car interiors, column covers, escalator skirtings, wall panels, and lobby ceilings.
Commercial Displays & Retail
Luxury display showcases, museum vitrines, and illuminated signage backdrops.
Industrial & Cleanroom Equipment
Pharmaceutical pass-boxes, cleanroom wall linings, sterile hospital work surfaces, and food-processing equipment casings.
Signage & Nameplates
Precision-etched directional signs and architectural wayfinding elements.
Custom Thickness, Dimensions, and Coatings
Beyond stock standard sizes, we support tailored processing parameters for complex projects:
Custom Slitting & Shearing
Precision cutting to exact rectangular dimensions using CNC guillotine shears.
V-Grooving Support
Factory-side back-grooving (V-cutting) available to enable clean 90-degree architectural bends without outer radius cracking.
Anti-Fingerprint (AFP) Coating
Nano-ceramic clear coating applied post-polishing to resist fingerprint smudges and simplify cleaning in high-traffic commercial spaces.
Quality Control and Surface Inspection
Production lots are subjected to strict multi-gate quality verification prior to packaging:
Visual Audit
100 percent manual inspection under dual-angle lighting by certified inspectors to detect micro-scratches, haze, or grinding defects.
Roughness Sampling
Surface roughness (Ra) measured using calibrated contact profilometers to ensure compliance with <= 0.05 um limits.
Peel & Residue Testing
Protective film adhesion tested to confirm clean removal without chemical transfer or adhesive residue on the mirror surface.
Traceability
Each crate is marked with Heat Numbers corresponding directly to the mill's chemical/mechanical test reports.
Packaging and Shipping Protocols
Mirror finish stainless steel requires rigorous protection against transit vibration, friction, and moisture:
Interleaving Protection
Non-abrasive pearl cotton or high-grade tissue paper inserted between adjacent sheets to prevent surface rub marks.
Film Retention
Factory-applied laser-safe protective film remains fully intact on the reflective face.
Crate Construction
Packed in ISPM 15-compliant fumigated solid wooden crates or reinforced heavy-duty iron-framed pallets.
Moisture Defense
Sealed with moisture-barrier kraft paper and internal silica gel desiccants to prevent condensation during ocean transit.
